Employee Changes
The Employee Changes report feature is currently in beta; please feel free to provide feedback by clicking here.
When you want a consolidated view of changes to employee profiles across the system, such as changes to employees' Basic Info, the Employee Changes report can be very useful.
Uses of report
One useful application of this report is to check whether any recent changes have been made to employees' bank details so that you can confirm whether such changes were authorised and legitimate.
To see only changes to bank details, you can filter the Attribute column in the report by "Bank account".
To generate an Employee Changes report:
- Click on Reports in the sidebar menu.
- Click on Employee Changes, under General.
- You can use the Filters to filter employees by Pay Point, Pay Frequency, or Current Status and/or select specific employees.
- Enter/select a Date Range.
- Check the Group by Pay Point box if applicable.
- If you selected only certain employees in step 3, you can click on View Selected Employees to confirm your selection.
- Check the Password protect this report download if you require this protection.
- Click Show Excel.
Inclusions¶
The report contains data similar to what’s available under Recent Activity when viewing an employee.
Recent Activity
You can view the Recent Activity on an employee's profile as follows:
- Go to Employees, and select the relevant employee's profile.
- On the Payroll tab, scroll down to below the Regular Inputs card.
Exclusions¶
The following are not included in the report:
- Updates to regular items (e.g. salary changes)
- Payslip finalisation/unfinalisation
